I spent a couple of hours working on this image just because I am too stubborn to read tutorials or instructions...I have to experiment and learn on my own! It takes longer but I've always been a "hands on" learner and I find it spurs my creativity. Of course it helps if you have a beautiful portrait taken of a beautiful lady. Check us out at deviantArt.
I took a serious look at my portfolio and I am concerned that I don't really have an aesthetic. I have been shooting just to shoot and get use to the different lens I have, but I haven't really been creative and thoughtful in my perspectives and it leaves for a very boring and confused portfolio. I would like to organize my work more efficiently and try to think outside of the box. I have launched a new website to work on some kind of identity for myself. Sepiabook.com, stories in Sepia by Cigi (another alias of mine). I will try to focus on editorial photography done in sepia tones. I think sepia is the most dramatic tone for editorial and often reminiscent of early photography. I am still working on the site and haven't yet started my "journey in sepia", but hopefully this will be another task in experience for my artistic abilities. Signing off on Day 13, chp/cigi
